UNESCO HERITAGE TOWN VILJANDI – CENTRE FOR REPAIR & STORYTELLING
Thu 24.07 – Sun 27.07While master artisan seamstress Kairi mends worn garments with skill and care, Viljandi’s local lore keeper invites you into her tent to share and listen to stories. Just as tales can mend hearts, shift perspectives, or bring laughter—or tears—this space continues the age-old tradition of speaking with your hands and your voice.
In the midst of the festival’s vibrant energy, the Heritage Town’s tent offers one a moment to pause. Come in, take a seat, and let your fingers—and your words—fly! Bring your own story or simply come to listen. Here, trousers get repaired and tales are told. It’s a place where ideas flow freely, time slows, shirts are fixed, and storytelling lights up the imagination. Everyone is welcome—every voice heard.
Storytelling sessions run Friday to Sunday, 12:00–15:00, for festival-goers of all ages.
