Campsite
Sleeping in a tent at the campsite is an essential part of every young festivalgoer’s Viljandi Folk experience. This is the place for the fans of the real festival buzz. No need to worry about not getting enough sleep – the curfew starts at 11 PM and is ensured by the campsite staff and security services.The festival Campsite is in a hidden oasis in the garden of Pauluse kirik (St. Paul's church), right in the heart of the town. It is comfortably located only 300 m from the festival area and is accessible only with the campsite ticket.
Order at the Campsite is maintained around the clock. Silent hours start at 23:00. It is forbidden to drink alcohol and use drugs at the campsite.
- Washing facilities are available 200 m away at Viljandi Sports Centre, for an extra fee (shower €2 and sauna €6).
- The festival takes no responsibility for the guests’ personal belongings.
- Animals are not allowed at the campsite.
- In front of the campsite is a parking lot intended for campers, where parking is allowed only with a festival parking card, which can be obtained from the campsite reception if there are available spots. A camping pass does not guarantee a parking space.
The Campsite opens on Thursday, July 23 at 12:00 and closes on Monday, July 27 at 10:00.

A spot for one person for four nights at the Viljandi Folk Music Festival Campsite costs €37 (€9.25 per night). Pre-sale is available until 22 July 2026, inclusive.During the festival, the price is €45 (sold on-site subject to availability).
- CAMPSITE DAY TICKET FOR THURSDAY AND SUNDAY
A spot for one person for one night at the festival campsite costs €12.50 (when purchased in advance until July 22, 2026, inclusive).During the festival, the price is €15 (sold on-site subject to availability).
- CAMPSITE DAY TICKET FOR FRIDAY AND SATURDAY
A spot for one person for one night at the festival campsite costs €13.50 (when purchased in advance until July 22, 2026, inclusive).
During the festival, the price is €16 (sold on-site subject to availability).
- COMFORT CAMPING PASS
The price of the Comfort Camping package is €176. The package grants campsite access for two people for four nights and includes one pre-erected two-person tent (length 190–205 cm, width 150 cm, height 105 cm), an air mattress, two sleeping bags, two pillows, and towels (all equipment must be returned to the festival).A transaction fee from Piletikeskus will be added to the prices.
NB! Children up to 12 years old (inclusive) camp for free. Entry to the area only when accompanied by an adult.

WASHING FACILITIES
Festival guests don’t have to use only Lake Viljandi! Washing and shower facilities are available both in the city center and by the lake.- Viljandi Sports Centre (Vaksali 4)
Sauna during festival days: 9:00 – 11:00 and 16:00 – 18:00 (€6 entry).
